Seeds are Cold Pressed. The seeds are a by-product of the fruit juice & jam industry, so no waste. The seeds are collected and then pressed.
WHAT’S GOOD ABOUT IT?
Raspberry Seed Oil has anti-inflammatory properties that help to soothe symptoms of inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis. The oil can moisturise and soften skin, as well as reducing irritation, itching, swelling, and redness.
The oil contains a particularly high level of anti-oxidants, including vitamins E and A, which help to repair skin damage from the sun, pollution and other environmental stressors. They also help to keep the skin barrier healthy and protect it from these environmental factors you are exposed to which are of course the main causes of skin damage.
Raspberry Seed Oil also has a great fatty acids profile, high in Omega 3 & 6. Omega-3s can help to moisturise the skin and fight red, dry, or itchy skin caused by skin issues such as dermatitis and psoriasis. Omega-3s also appear to improve skin barrier function, sealing in moisture and keeping out irritants. Omega 6 fatty acids are known to hydrate rough skin, fade hyperpigmentation, and aid in treating acne (However, this will depend on the causes of acne.)
